For your puppy’s first journey home, we always recommend having the puppy on a passengers lap, on top of some old blankets/towels

After the first journey and through your puppy’s life, we always recommend having them securely in the boot or in a crate - but the first journey home will be a little confusing and scary for them (and might be very distracting to the driver if they are making a mess and lots of noise!) For that first journey home it will be much kinder to be able to reassure them, and give them a cuddle to soothe them.
